Our Providers 

 Dr. Frank Maselli

Frank Maselli, M.D., is a board certified Family Practitioner since 1986. He received his MD degree from Tel Aviv Medical School. He trained in Family Medicine at SUNY Downstate. He is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Downstate Medical College Medical Center. In 2001, he was honored as NYS Family Doctor of the Year by the NYS Academy of Family Medicine. Dr. Maselli serves on the Bronx ACO’s (Accountable Care Organization) Quality Assurance Committee. He is an Ambassador for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical Home Project.

He has a special interest in Electronic Medical Records, lecturing physicians on the advantages of embracing this technology. Past presentations include the NYCDOH 2013 Provider Recognition Event, Patient Portal Panelist at the Eclinicalworks 2012 National User’s Conference, and general lectures on Computers in Private Practice.

Dr. Maselli's hobbies are woodworking and woodturning. He married to his wife Sandra in 1985. They have three children.

Dr. Carl Franzetti

Carl Franzetti, D.O., is a board certified Family Physician. He received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, Long Island. He completed his Family Practice residency at Warren Hospital in Phillispsburg, New Jersey. Dr. Franzetti is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Franzetti is the Medical Director at Manhattanville Nursing Care Center and St. Patrick's Nursing Home for the Aged and Infirm. He is the physician on staff at the College of New Rochelle, New Rochelle, New York and Manhattan College, Riverdale, New York. In November 2011, Saint Joseph’s Medical Center awarded him the Outstanding Service Award.

He enjoys vacationing with his family  from the slopes to the waves. In his spare time you can find him with his family: hiking, skiing, quadding, and boating. Anyone who knows him will speak of his sweet tooth and boundless energy from dawn to dusk.

Dr. Franzetti loves his work and feels that he has never worked a day in his life. His motto is: “If you are happy at what you do, you never work a day in your life.” 

Dr. Leticia Gonzalez

Dr. Leticia Gonzalez has been a family physician since July 1993. She graduated from University Autonomas of Guadalajara, Mexico in 1987. She was chief resident at St. Joseph's Medical Center and has been recognized and awarded for surgical and pediatric practice. She was president of Schervier Nursing Care Center and is on the St. Joseph's Medical Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. She speaks both English and Spanish.

Dr. Roger Villi 

Dr. Villi joined RFP in 2005. He graduated from University Autonoma de Guadalajara in 1984. After graduation, he did research in neonatal medicine. Dr. Villi participated in the 5th pathway program at NY Medical College, an internship in internal medicine in Flushing Hospital, and a residency program in family medicine at St. Joseph's Medical Center (SJMC). Dr. Villi worked in the SJMC emergency room for several years, positions included Associate and Acting Director. Certifications included trauma, basic, advanced, and pediatric life support. He instructed in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He enjoys treating patients, being part of a team, and the challenges found in medicine today.

In his spare time, Dr. Villi is a regular at the gym, rock climbs, and attends classes in martial arts and boxing. He is happily married and resides in Westchester.

Dr. Jill Groves 

Jill Groves, M.D., is a board certified Family Practitioner and has been working at Riverdale Family Practice since 2004. She graduated from UMDNJ, New Jersey Medical School. She trained at New York Presbyterian-Columbia University Family Medicine Residency Program where she served as chief resident. She was awarded the Humanism in Medicine award in 2001 from the Healthcare Foundation of NJ. She speaks both English and Spanish.

Dr. Groves enjoys working and taking care of patients in the Bronx. She spends her free time with her two sons and husband. Some of her hobbies include hiking, cooking, reading, and traveling.

Dr. Robin Pinzon 

Dr. Robin Pinzon is a board certified Family Practitioner who has been working at Riverdale Family Practice since 2011. He attended medical school at University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center in the Philippines. He did his residency at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center. Dr. Pinzon is from the Bronx-Yonkers area. One of his favorite things about working at RFP is that he is able to take care of patients and families that he grew up with.

Dr. Pinzon loves sports - particularly football, basketball, and baseball.  He also enjoys traveling, running, and dancing.  He is married and has a son.

Dr. Teresa Hervada 

Dr. Teresa Hervada is a Board Certified Family Physician since 1997. A native of Spain, she received her M.D. degree from Santiago de Composteia Medical School. In 1987, she moved to North Carolina where she worked on osteoporosis research in a pharmaceutical company. Missing patient contact, she decided to go back to clinical medicine, completing her Family Practice residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, New York. Later she served as House Officer and Hospitalist at St. Joes. Dr. Hervada joined Riverdale Family Practice in 2013. She speaks both English and Spanish.

Dr. Hervada lives in the Bronx with her husband and two sons.

Dr. Maria Lourdes Flores

Maria Lourdes Flores, M.D., is a Board Certified Family Physician and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her training in family medicine at Saint Joseph's Medical Center. She values that family medicine allows for continuity and comprehensive care for patients.

Dr. Flores was born and raised in New York and loves spending her free time with her husband, family, and friends. She is passionate about dance and attends ballet and zumba classes regularly. She also enjoys cooking (and eating), exercising, and reading.

Dr. Liliana Taich

Liliana Taich, M.D., is a board certified Family Physician with a keen interest in Preventive Medicine and Women's Health. She attended Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Argentina and was a practicing Ob/Gyn for six years. Dr. Taich came to the United States and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Saint Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, New York. While there, she received a Family Health Center award recognizing true commitment and excellent medical care to patients. Dr. Taich enjoys providing comprehensive medical care to the diverse population at Riverdale Family Practice.

She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has a passion for dancing Argentine Tango. She lives with her husband and dog.

                                            Michelle Zevallos-Ramos, Family Nurse Practitioner 
Michelle Zevallos-Ramos is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and is a member of the American Nurses Association. She received her Master's Degree at CUNY Lehman College, and has been providing primary care to the pediatric, adult, and geriatric population since 2015. Prior to obtaining her graduate degree, she worked as an RN on the inpatient units and post anesthesia care unit at Hospital for Special Sugery in NYC. Michelle was born and raised in New York, and lives in the Rockland with her husband and young daughter. 
                                            Ansa Kandamkulathy, Family Nurse Practitioner 
Ansa Kandamkulathy is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and a member of the American Nurses Association.  Ansa received her  Master's Degree from Pace University. Prior to obtaining her graduate degree, Ansa worked as a registered nurse in different hospitals including Winthrop University Hospital, Northwell Weill Cornel, and Nyack hospital. The specialties as RN includes critical care, Transplant, and nephrology. Ansa enjoys music, dance, and nature. She lives in Rockland with her family.

                                            Charity Excel Okechukwu, Family Nurse Practitioner 

Charity Ngozi Excelokchukwu is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Master's Degree at Pace University and has been providing primary care to the pediatric, adults, and geriatric population since 2021. Prior to obtaining her Nurse practitioner degree, she has experience for 15 plus years as a Registered Nurse within multiple Medical and Surgical units that includes; cardiology and internal Medicine,  Charity is a very compassionate as her motto is,  "Caring For Life". Charity was born in Nigeria, and moved to United States at the age of 18. She currently lives in Yonkers New York with her husband and young son.
